Survive the Apocalypse.

Colin Powell is one of the most respected and decorated military officers in modern history. He joined the Royal Navy after a stint as an enlisted soldier, becoming a Combat Survival Instructor with 22 Regiment of SAS. Colin has spent over 30 years teaching survival skills to UK and US Army personnel, including Land/Sea/Desert needs for all climates: Jungle training for South East Asia; Cold Weather instruction on Arctic life-saving techniques (snow shelters, windbreaks). In addition he instructs about escape from captivity tactics – how to avoid detection by guards while being held captive or run surveillance operations against enemy installations before they are brought down – based on his own experience during two wars

Colin is a veteran of the Falkland Wars, Germany and Bosnia as well as serving with England’s Army Intelligence Corps. Nowadays he teaches survival courses to both instructors and students at UK Defense SERE Training Organization where they provide training in surviving situations that might be encountered during wartime such was experience gained by British soldiers when captured or wounded while on active service overseas – Afghanistan for example. I’ve been carrying this book around ever since it came out because its so comprehensive yet easy-to-read which makes it perfect for someone like me who frequently goes into remote areas often without much warning!

It’s a golden oldie.

Colin has seen service in combat theaters from Northern Ireland to the Falklands using his expertise not only within military intelligence but also teaching basic survival principles taught through

The appendix includes a guide to poisonous and edible plants, animals, and insects. I personally did not find anything wrong with this book except for the lack of illustrations in the wild edibles department – although it is understandable given that there are so many different types of food out there. The graphics throughout were really neat though! My favorite part was when he talked about starting fires: you can get some creative ideas from his inventive tips like using urine as an accelerant or making fire-starter balls by filling toilet paper tubes with sawdust soaked in Vaseline (my personal favorite). Overall, I found this book pretty useful but would have liked more information on what plants/animals were where along side their uses; especially if they’re poisonous/
